A diet that eliminates refined and processed sugar and carbohydrates

Some of the fad diets on the market encourages you to eliminate refined and processed sugar and carbohydrates. You are allowed to eat whole grains, high fiber fruits and vegetables, and no restriction on protein from lean meat. This kind of diet also states that when you wash down your food with any liquids the results are partially digested foods. The effects of these fad diets are that the rise in blood sugar levels does not encourage your body to store fat. This diet is lacking in some major vitamins and minerals such as calcium, vitamin A, nutrition and fiber.

A diet restricting carbohydrate intake

This fad diet will only allow your carbohydrate intake to be twenty grams per day at first. After then onwards you are allowed to build up to sixty grams per day. You are allowed to eat foods which are healthy for you and you should have an intake with limited kind of food. You are allowed to eat foods like eggs, meat, fish, bacon, chicken, vegetable oil, and butter. You are not allowed to eat fruits, milk, vegetables, yogurt, bread, and pasta. The negative effects for this diet include the lack of fats, balanced diet, high amounts of saturated fats, and cholesterol. Where there is a chance of dehydration if large amounts of water are not consumed. This diet also lacks folate, magnesium, calcium, potassium, minerals and nutrients and vitamin C.

The advertisements are everywhere

You can find the advertisements of fad diet every where for the same kind of diets like those two listed above you look. These advertisements are advertised all over every kind of media you can think of. All types of promises like how much weight you will lose in a very short amount of time will be given to you. They do not tell you to mention that you are the whole truth. Before you buy such fad diets think number of times and consult any dietitian. Kindly you do not purchase those diets which are advertised, because it is very dangerous and it may leads to dangerous diseases.

Another one of the dangers of fad dieting is that when you do go off the diet and gain your weight back; you may either get discouraged, depressed. Either physically or mentally this fad diet is not good for you.
